October is National Chiropractic Health Month

The way you treat your body matters. Chiropractors know that firsthand! From reducing pain, to caring for osteoarthritis, to helping with hypertension, chiropractic care comes with a variety of benefits. Not to mention, October is National Chiropractic Health Month, which puts an extra spotlight on our trade. Read on to learn more!

Who created National Chiropractic Health Month?

You may know the creators of National Chiropractic Health Month. We’ve certainly heard of them! The American Chiropractic Association, or ACA, came up with the idea of this critical awareness campaign.

Fun fact: They don’t just stand out among the crowd—they have a crowd of their own. After all, their extensive membership means they’re the biggest professional chiropractic organization in the country!

What is National Chiropractic Health Month?

This month, we’ve all put up bat decorations and carved our jack-o-lanterns. However, the real big scare is chronic pain and poor health. National Chiropractic Health Month shines a light on the importance of chiropractic care—and why it can make a crucial difference in your everyday life.

What is the goal of National Chiropractic Health Month?

Chiropractic care comes with many effective benefits, such as improving your circulation and decreasing back pain. Well, as you know, October is National Chiropractic Health Month—and it comes with a multi-pronged mission.

You see, many people who live with chronic pain also struggle with medication addiction. Applying chiropractic adjustments, however, can relieve pain without medication.

The campaign also targets musculoskeletal health, as well as the benefits of getting active. Our whole body is connected—which means that troubles in one section influence the whole. When you stay active, you can improve your general health, including that of your musculoskeletal system.
